From the time I could hold a pen or paintbrush, I was drawn to creating art, inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest where I grew up. Watercolors soon became my favorite medium, their soft, fluid tones capturing the delicate beauty of nature. Later, I discovered calligraphy and fell in love with the art of beautiful handwriting. Blending the elegance of calligraphy with my passion for watercolor painting became the perfect harmony of word and image. Why I chose Calligraphy
Years later, when my children began school, I noticed a shift—handwriting
was being replaced by keyboarding, and the personal touch of pen and paper was
fading. In our fast-paced digital world, something precious was being lost: the
warmth of human connection. This realization inspired me to preserve
calligraphy as a living art form, keeping alive the beauty of handwritten
